Painting |
Process
Over the years countless styles and ways of applying paint
have been devised by artists and others. Consequently there
are innumerous possibilities when it comes to painting technique
and process.
The images below catalogue the process I used to paint Embankment
in May 2006. When I paint, as with my stone sculpture, I use
a very wide variety of techniques and methods to achieve my
goals, however, for this particular painting I applied a fairly
traditional approach - with the exception, of course, of my
choice of medium - acrylic. I had a very strict time limit
to finish this project within so drying times were of utmost
importance, hence my choice of medium. |
